Composed mostly of tiger's eye, red jasper and black hematite, Tiger Iron has long been popular with jewelry-makers. The gold, silver, brown and red bands of color allow the stone to be matched with many other gemstones in designs, and the chatoyancy of the tiger's eye can make it a very attractive stone on its own.
