Blue Aragonite is a naturally occurring glow-in-the-dark stone but is often enhanced, treated, or mixed with phosphorescent powder to make it shine brighter or longer. While charging the aragonite in light will make the beads glow brighter, but if it is left in sun for too long, the color may fade eventually. 

The natural glow of raw aragonite, particularly from Mexico or Italy, can fluoresce (glow under UV light) and exhibit faint natural phosphorescence (afterglow). 

Aragonite is believed to be a grounding stone. Considered to have the power to combat anger, accelerate learning process, promote patience, discipline, reliability, and encourage acceptance.
