Red Garnet

Red Garnet is the most commonly known type of Garnet, which occurs in many colors.

Used for adornment and spirituality by myriad cultures and civilizations throughout history, its oldest known use being in Egypt more than five thousand years ago.

This gemstone is useful for blood detoxification and promotes overall heart health.

Black Spinel

Spinel is a hard vitreous magnesium aluminum oxide usually found in black, but comes in a range of other colors. Those varieties are transparent.

Sometimes called the "Black Prince's Ruby" for its role in the English crown. It has been mistaken for ruby and sapphire at times, but can be distinguished by its structure and its lower relative hardness.

Black Spinel not only has the dark color, but it is opaque as well, rendering its black especially deep and mysterious. Believed to be a protective stone that repels negativity.

Amethyst

Amethyst is a beautiful purple stone, known as a “Gem of Fire” by ancient cultures. Greatly sought after throughout history and was at times valued as highly as Diamond.

This semi to precious variety of quartz is found in many locations around the world. The presence of Manganese produces the purple hue, and the amount of iron in the stone creates a color range from reddish purple to deep violet to light lilac.

The name derives from the Greek word for “not intoxicated” and was once believed to prevent drunkenness and overindulgence. Can be used to promote general serenity and calmness.

Lapis

Lapis is a semi-precious stone and one of the most sought after throughout history.

It is highly regarded for its beautiful blue color flecked with gold inclusions of pyrite, and was prized in ancient times for the ultramarine dye derived from it. This dye was said to create Michelangelo’s favorite shade of blue.

It is one of the world’s oldest known stones, mined since 4000 BCE, originally from the Lapis-Lazuli mine in Afghanistan. Often used to heal the body, mind, and soul.

Malachite

Malachite is a copper carbonate with a bright green color and dark green banding.

Usually found near copper deposits, it is formed through the combination of carbonated water, limestone and copper. Famous malachite mines in the Ural mountains of Russia once produced 20-ton blocks of the stone, while today it is primarily mined in Africa.

Known as the "Stone of Transformation", aids in relieving physical and emotional pain.
