Angelite Stone Glossary

Angelite is a blue variety of anhydrite valued for its soft, powdery blue color and smooth, matte finish. As Dakota Stones, we offer angelite beads that are typically opaque and may display subtle white or grey inclusions. Angelite is relatively soft, making it suitable for jewelry that will not be exposed to heavy wear. Its calming color palette works well in designs seeking a tranquil or ethereal aesthetic. Due to its solubility in water, angelite requires careful handling during both design and wear.
