Kiwi Quartz, more accurately known as Kiwi Jasper or Sesame Jasper, is a New Zealand-sourced rock composed primarily of quartz, with inclusions of amazonite (causing the pale blue-green color) and tourmaline (the black spots). Its name comes from its appearance, resembling the mottled green and black pattern of a kiwi fruit. While sometimes marketed as jasper, it's technically a type of quartzite.
