Ancient glass from Pakistan, particularly from archaeological sites like those in the Swat Valley, has been excavated and repurposed into contemporary beads. This ancient glass, often dating back centuries or even millennia (from periods like the Gandhara civilization or earlier), is typically found in various states of preservation. When turned into modern beads, this old glass is carefully shaped, drilled, and sometimes polished, allowing its historical character and often subtle, naturally patinated colors to be appreciated in new jewelry designs.

Due to the uniqueness of these ancient beads each strand will have beads that vary in shape, size, and color.
