Nacozari turquoise is a highly sought-after, now-rare gemstone from the Sonora region of Mexico, specifically near the town of Nacozari de García, south of Douglas, Arizona. Known for its vibrant sky-blue to deep blue colors—often compared to Sleeping Beauty turquoise—it frequently features a striking brown, black, or metallic pyrite matrix.

Because the mine is closed, existing stocks of Nacozari turquoise are considered finite and collectible.
