Faceted Shapes
Faceted shapes are gemstone beads cut with flat, polished planes across a sculpted profile, so the outline gives a strand its structure and the facets give it sparkle. This collection gathers the fancy faceted cuts: swirl ovals and rice beads, faceted and puff squares and six-point star beads at 6–8mm, ovals, rectangles and triangle-cut puff ovals around 8x10mm, and marquise beads at the statement size of 10x16mm. Every option comes as a 15–16 inch strand.
More than 30 stones are cut this way — amethyst, labradorite, lapis, garnet, aquamarine, carnelian, tiger eye, sodalite, amazonite, peach moonstone and the full quartz family among them. More Than a Faceted Round
A fancy faceted shape does two jobs at once. The silhouette — a marquise point, a rice barrel, a puffed square, a six-point star — carries the design, while the flat cut planes across it break light into distinct flashes instead of one soft glow. That's what sets this collection apart from plain faceted rounds: the outline gives a strand its structure and the facets give it sparkle, so one strand can stand on its own. Shapes range from the everyday-useful 7x8mm swirl oval and rice bead to statement cuts like the 10x16mm marquise and the 8x10mm triangle-cut puff oval. Every strand is 15–16 inch and drilled straight through for real stringing.
Cut, Color & Grade
Faceting is only as good as its edges, so we hold the facet planes crisp and keep holes consistent enough to string on wire, not just cord. These are natural stones, so color and pattern shift bead to bead — that variation is the material, not a flaw — and where a strand runs more tightly matched we mark it "A Grade." When a color is enhanced we say so right in the product title, like our Magnesite (Dyed) Turquoise; stones such as amethyst, labradorite, lapis and garnet carry their natural color. Pick Your Shape & Size
Match the shape to the job. Marquise (10x16mm) and rectangles (8x10–9x13mm) read as centerpieces; rice beads and swirl ovals (7x8mm) add texture down a strand; faceted and puff squares (6–8mm) and star beads work as rhythm and accent; triangle-cut puff ovals (8x10mm) sit between the two. Hardness runs from softer, dyed pieces like magnesite and howlite (about Mohs 3.5) up to garnet and the quartz family (7–7.5), so keep softer and color-treated strands away from water and chemicals and wipe everything with a soft cloth.
