Yellow Jade is not actually Jade, but a form of natural Serpentine which is commonly referred to as Yellow Jade in the stone industry. This semi to translucent stone occurs in an array of hues, from deep oranges to creamy off to white tones. As a Serpentine, Yellow Jade is a magnesium iron phyllosilicate and may contain other elements including chromium, manganese, cobalt or nickel.
